a. All members will compete based on their age as of May 1, 2020 (no aging up).
b. Members must be 4 years of age as of September 30, 2020 to participate at any FCCRS event.
c. Signed and completed forms/ waivers for both FCCRS and OAS must be received prior to allowing
member to participate in any FCCRS event.
d. Helmets are mandatory for 12 & under and recommended for all riders.
e. Members must follow FCCRS Covid-19 Protocol.
f. Rider safety and control are critical. Riders who do not have control of their mounts will be asked to
dismount and leave the arena.
g. Safety in the Horse Alley:
- No ropes, no running, riders must sit properly while mounted
- Parents are expected to monitor their children while mounted.
- Unattended horses are not allowed anywhere in the horse alley. “Extra” or multiple mounts can be
tied up at trailers until required in the arena.
- Red ribbons are required on the tails of horses that kick. Horses that kick should be situated with
butts to the wall or tied outside.
h. Unnecessary roughness or abuse of animals will not be tolerated. Offenders will
be asked to leave the arena immediately and in the event of severe or repeated abuse will be asked to
leave the club.
i. Incidents of bullying fellow members will not be tolerated. Incidents of parents bullying other members
or board members will not be tolerated. You and your child will be asked to leave the club. No financial
reimbursement will be given.
j. No Split Reins or Split Reins must be tied together.
k. The events will follow the High School Rodeo Rules (as close as possible)
l. A & B Groups will be set up after the 2nd event.
m. For all awards, points will be calculated from the second event of the season to the last event of the
regular season. Finals is not considered a “regular” event.
n. Members who miss their name being announced or who are not in the arena at the start of their run will
be given a no time.
o. Members are expected to ride within their own age group (8 and under in the morning, 9-18 in the
p. To qualify for the year end awards you must attend a minimum of 50% of events.
q. Members are expected to compete in the Finals competition on their “usual” mount (defined as the
mount that they have ridden for at least 50% of the scheduled events.) In the event of lameness or death
of an animal, special consideration may be requested from the board of directors but must be received in
writing prior to the start of the Finals event.

Every Member is required to participate in the raffle/ fundraising sales consisting of one (2) raffles.
Each member (child) in a family is responsible to sell a minimum of $200.00 worth of tickets for each raffle.
Raffles will be held twice (2) per year. Any member may opt out of the fundraising by writing a cheque at
time of registration for $500.00 per child.
Any member who has not met their fundraising obligation will not be eligible for year end prizes.
- Mandatory Volunteering
All members and parents are expected to volunteer during our events. If volunteer/ raffle commitments are
not met, the member’s points will be taken away so that they are not eligible for yearend awards or prizes.
We have a number of volunteer positions available during all FCCRS events, which include: Arena gate,
Announcing, Timers, Flaggers, Set Up Crew, Take Down Crew, Rakers, Goat Holders, Horse Holders for Goat
Events, Clean Up Crew- Lobby, Bleachers, Alley, Arena, Bathroom, etc. We need all families helping in order to
make FCCRS events a success.

10:00am- 10:30am: Warm-up time for the Leadline, 8 and Under Group
10:30am-Start time for the Leadline and 8 and Under Groups
12:30pm-1:00pm: Warm-up time for the 9-18 Groups
1:00pm- Start time for the 9-18 Groups.
Start times may be adjusted upon membership numbers. Start times may be adjusted for special events or
