The Future Cowboys and Cowgirls Rodeo Society (FCCRS) is a non-profit 501 C (3) youth association where we promote family fun and good sportsmanship while teaching, learning, and participating in the sport of rodeo. Our members are young rodeo athletes 18 years and younger. The
association consists of members in four different age groups: Lead Line, 8 & under (morning rodeo group), 9-18 (afternoon rodeo group). There are 4 different events held
The FCCRS is one of the longest running Junior rodeo groups. The FCCRS was founded in 1999 in Okotoks, Alberta by a group of dedicated rodeo enthusiasts with the desire to promote the development of sportsmanship, horsemanship, and character in our youth in Southern Alberta. The FCCRS works diligently to promote these rodeo athletes throughout the Southern Alberta region. Members come from all over Southern Alberta to compete at these rodeos. The FCCRS rodeo year is from October through March, with the finals being held end of March. Prizes and prize money will be given to the fastest times and highest points in each event throughout the year, along with accumulating points for high point all around and prizes and payouts for our FCCRS finals. At the FCCRS Finals, the contestants with the highest placing will receive a trophy buckle in each age group, a trophy award will be given to the reserve high point all around in each age group, as well as finals trophy prizes given to the top 3 placing contestants in EACH event, with our hope of giving finals qualifier prizes for ALL Finals contestants.
